Woodbyne is a small and intimate European style hotel where you can stay, marry and celebrate in style.

Set in acres of classical gardens, Woodbyne is the perfect place to hold your wedding reception.

Woodbyne has 2 Reception Rooms:-
* The Garden Room - can seat up to 75 people for a dinner reception
* The Gallery Room - in the Hotel complex - seats up to 95 people for a dinner reception

For cocktail receptions we can cater for up to 120 people. The minimum charge for any function is for 50 guests.

Our chefs prepare the finest food from our extensive menus and you select your beverages from our wine list. You can BYO wine and beer (no spirits) if you prefer.

When holding your reception in the Gallery Room, wedding parties are required to book all of the Hotel's 11 guest rooms for a minimum 2 night stay.

The Woodbyne gardens are only available for wedding ceremonies and photos to wedding parties who hold their wedding reception at Woodbyne.

All visits are strictly by appointment only.

Before making an appointment to view the venue please ensure that you have received our Dinner and Cocktail Wedding Packages which detail the inclusions and prices.
We prefer that inspections be made during the week - Monday to Friday.

“I did think about having the wedding in Sydney but just love the south coast. We decided we didn’t want to drive around in traffic and be in a place where lots of other weddings were going on.”
The ceremony was held in Woodbyne’s garden with a red carpet across the lawn serving as the aisle. Red and white rose petals were scattered beneath the juniper tree to form a carpet where Kate & Ryan exchanged their vows.
A string quartet played the Processional and Recessional during the ceremony and later entertained the 100 guests as they enjoyed drinks and canapés in the garden while the bridal party had their photos taken.
The reception was in the hotel gallery room and throughout the evening guests continued to move between the reception area and the romantically lit garden. A marquee with a dance floor was set up outside with a jazz band providing the music.
“It was a very happy day, a perfect day,” Kate recalls. “Although I worked up until the Tuesday before the wedding, it all went very smoothly. I knew what I wanted – there was not much indecision or shopping around – and then I found the professional people to do it for me.”
